Information about directorBill Condon William Condon was born in 1955 in New York City and attended Columbia College, where he studied philosophy. His career started in television. The first project for cinema which he directed was the Southern Gothic mystery Sister Sister. In 1998 Condon came to prominence both as director and writer of the biographical drama Gods and Monsters, for which he received an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. He was also nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay for the musical Chicago. Next Condon directed and penned Kinsey, which brought him critical acclaim. In 2012, he received the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Director for his work on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.
