CastMichael Oldani, Jusef Anthony, Robert Helms Film descriptionModern psychiatry is apparently a free for all, where doctors and pharmaceutical companies run an unchecked medical experiment by feeding patients psychotropic agents mixed with other drugs to minimize side effects. Some of these ‘cocktails’ consist of 20 different drugs, which may be dangerous when taken in combination. Frighteningly, all most patients require is some therapy and a single prescription. The directors of Off Label look for the reasons behind the over-prescriptions by interviewing patients, their families, people who hire themselves out as lab rats to test drugs, as well as former prisoners forced to participate in drug trials when such was still legal.
